i was watching tv and a android commercial came on talking about a 1ghz processor so i turned around and saw the the incredible rising out of a black and red box. It was actually pretty sweet

View 7 Replies View RelatedPicked up my phone this morning at 7:30 am at the Verizon Corp store. Noticed my battery was black, not red. They checked several other batteries...all were red. Says "HTC Innovation" on it and it is a 1300. I took the phone and said I'd check back if I had any problems. So far so good. its now been 12 hours, and I'm still in the green with the bar somewhere between the 1/2 and 1/3 mark. Any ideas?

I have Flickie Wallpapers and went to load it. Screen went black and froze. Had to open the phone, remove the battery and reboot. When I came back, I got a message that my SD card is damaged. Maybe there is an app that can check and possibly repair the card?

the screen is black and the none of the buttons seem to be responding, the only thing working is a blinking orange led light. so im thinking the battery is dead and i can just put it in the charger i do that and the blinking stays for about 30 seconds and then stops and i tried turning it on again and its still black. Normally i can just turn the phone on when its charging but this time no.
don't know if this has been brought up before, but I changed the background on my DI to the HTC provided black wallpaper (think it has some silver in it). Now my battery life has been extended almost 3 hours with the same usage. I have made no other changes to the DI.

But when I'm talking on the phone the screen goes black and if I try to unlock it to schedule something in my calendar, etc., the screen just goes black over and over and won't stay active long enough for me to unlock the screen. This is exceedingly frustrating since I can't use any apps when I'm on the phone, and I have to push the button on the top to get the screen to light up at all if I'm on the phone, it doesn't automatically light up if I take it away from my ear to look at something on my phone.
I've been doing the same thing for weeks now, but suddenly after I bump charge, my screen is black every morning.
I'm starting to see more and more threads about this over the last few days with other phones, but not for the Incredible. Everyone is saying 'turn it in, get a new phone.' What a pain in the butt to do that.
No one seems to have a cause for this. For me, I bump charge in the morning, and when I unlock after restart, everything goes black. I lock, unlock a few times, then I see my apps, but over a black back ground. I swap out my wallpaper and it works fine for me all day. But the last 3 mornings has resulted in a black screen.
So, I flashed .92 hboot from adrynalynes website and it is stuck in some kind of weird hboot boot loop. When I try to reboot it just goes black and comes back to this screen. I can get to clockwork and do and nandroid backup, but I just wanted to know what potentially caused this so I can avoid this in the future.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the Internal memory Widget on my homescreen and in the past few hours the amount of internal memory used has jumped from 92mb/147mb to 118mb/147mb. I'm struggling to figure out why.
I have Mobile Internet enabled as always, and I use several well know apps and widgets like Sky News, BBC News, Chomp SMS, Twitter, Facebook for Android, etc. I've checked every app using Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and only a couple of apps had a cache size over 1mb, most didn't have stored data at all. Facebook had about 4.5mb of cache data, but all this adds up to a total much less than the 26mb increase that the memory widget is reporting.
Anyone know what could be filling the storage?
Anyone else have this happen? If I try to delete a thread that has a shit ton of texts, the screen will freeze up, turn black, tell me its not responding in which I force close but the screen just stays black. I have to restart my phone every time I try to delete it.
View 34 Replies View RelatedI couldn't find anything specific through a search, but whenever I get an email on gmail I get a white envelope notification. That is linked to the gmail folder. At the same time I get a black envelope with a white outline. I cannot figure out what email folder/widget/whatever it is linked to and I have to manually clear the notification.
Is there anyway to turn off the black envelope?
I need a free photo editor that will allow me to change pics from color to Grey scale/black and white.

View 39 Replies View RelatedOver the past week, the display on my DInc has been slowly tinting toward a redish/pink hue. It appears the greys are turning pink. Anybody having this problem with their device? Is there a setting to work out the color balance anywhere?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis folder includes screen shots that are used for Internet Browser bookmarks. It also includes screen shots of web pages that I did not choose to bookmark. When I clear cache while in "Internet" in "Manage Applications" it does not remove these jpg files that are not being used for bookmarks. When I clear everything while in Internet app (in settings) it does not remove these jpg files either. It also does not remove them from within the HistoryEraser app. The only way I can remove the jpg files is with Astro or when connected to PC. I have to go through them and erase jpgs that I do not want there.
There were 72 jpg files in that directory and they go all the way back to when I got phone (on 4/29). I have only added 5 bookmarks myself during that time. They do not take up a lot of space but I just don't want them there.
I know there is a Verizon commercial for the droid and they show an app where you hold your phone up when your around a bunch of resteraunts and it shows you there name. What is the name of that app?

I saw a commercial earlier and I wanted to know the phone they were showing in the commercial was it a Droid X? Has anyone seen the commercial? I think it was a Droid x because the electronics around the street were becoming animated and moving around and plus the phone in the person's hand looked way to big to be any of verizons other current phones.
