How can I transfer my videos/ photos taken on the phone be transferred onto the sd card/ pc? It's really annoying because I have a video I want to put on youtube which is more than 3mb, so is there any way to edit it/ reduce the mb so I can put it on youtube?

I put the micro SD from my old phone into the Hero and as it's full up i was hoping to transfer some of the files onto the phone using the internal memory, but i cannot find a way of doing this. Also now that the card is full i am unable to take new photos cos there is no space for them to be stored. Do i have to do something to access the internal memory?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought a bluetooth dongle on Amazon (ORICO BTA 403, CSR8510 A10 chipset) and installed it on my Windows 7 x64 computer.
The dongle installs fine and works perfectly with all my older phones but not with my Xperia S running Android 4.1.2.
Basically, if I install the automatic windows driver, and pair with the phone, windows complains about no drivers for the device, and I can't do anything with it.
If I install the supplied software (CSR Harmony wireless software stack) I can pair and the Xperia S is installed properly, the various audio services work (I can stream music to PC using BT), but I still can't send or receive files, either from PC to Phone or from Phone to PC.
The connection times out after a second and gives me a connectivity error. It's like the phone refuses to connect to the PC, both when transferring and receiving.
I don't know if the phone is the problem, it seems to not work only when doing file transfers with PC, if I try to transfer files to other phones or to my mac (which has built in BT) it works fine.
Any way to troubleshoot this issue to tell if the problem comes from the phone or the dongle? By the way, using Airdroid instead of BT is not a fix.
I am moving on to a new phone and I need to transfer large files from my phone to my PC using my home network. Actually it's only 3 folders... Whatsapp, Photos and Music but each is about 3gb. My usb connection to my PC is unstable and it randomly drops.

My wifes phone does not have this problem for the most part. Only when pdanet. What can be done? I have tried many different drivers and still same issue with my phone.

Following another thread in SE, I changed the run mode in Eclipse to manual in the hope that I would be able to chose my phone and/or AVD every time I run the program.
The popup list howerver only show the AVD, my phone is not present in the list.
So obviously, my Samsung Galaxy S device is not recognized. Howerver, I can transfer to and from the device using a drive letter, so the USB connection is working properly.
Anyone any idea what I am missing here ? I'm not sure if it is an Eclipse problem , or a driver or ....

I dont like having to go to my comp to edit the album or name of a song. View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I was told by a Sprint rep that if the phone memory gets below about 80 MB then the phone will start to lag. Well I can't seem to delete enough stuff to get back above 80 MB available memory, I deleted pics, texts messages and various apps that I would have liked to keep. I started playing with my wife's phone which has more apps then mine, I checked her available phone memory and she has 102 MB!!! I can't figure out what I could have on my phone memory that would be taking up over 20 MB of space. Where can I look to try and figure this out? My wife's phone is very zippy and quick, while my phone waits forever when switching apps.
Also, How do I transfer pics I have taken on my phone to the SD card instead of using phone memory?
