I was looking at Google's Nexus One order page earlier today and I noticed that Google is actually recommending the EVO for Sprint customers. It makes it seem more and more likely that the EVO will be one of the first phones to get the Froyo update once it's ready for the public.

I just rooted my HTC hero. I downloaded a ROM that looked almost exactly the same as the default(ZEN EXP), so I decided I wanted to change it to AOSP 2.2.1 (Froyo) Every time I try to change it my android just tells me that it aborted the installation.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWith the stock TW laucher of my SGS 2 (ICS) I would like to move pages in the App drawer, say move page number 5 to the end (page number 12) but I just can't figure out how to do that.
I can move Icons, add and remove pages and folders but I can't move an entire page. Is this not possible with the App drawer of TW launcher?
So I starting calling the corporate sprint stores in my area and I noticed they were all asking if I was an existing (EC) or new customer (NC) before telling me if evo's were available. Turns out they are lying about their evo stock to EC. They will sell you one only if you're a NC. So I called a store, and told them I was a tmobile customer. "We have 5 in stock so if you come in the next 30 minutes you can get one". Then, I told them I wanted to buy the phone outright, full retail, no line activation sprint rep told me they don't have phones in stock for me.
Immediately I called sprint customer service; they called the store. (10 min after original call). Store now says none are available, and there is a waitlist. I'm not the only one. Sprint HTC EVO 4G supplies running low, but could be higher than we think - Android and Me

Around Sunnyvale, Ca 5 of 6 stores I called asked if i was an existing customer before answering if they had it in stock. 6 store said none. 2 of 2 stores, told me they had stock, then changed tune when they found out i was an existing customer. I should have just gone to the store, waited for them to present the phone. then reveal I'm an existing customer. If they try to pull it back, then call sprint customer service.
I just got an email asking me if I wanted to reserve the Samsung Epic 4G.
According to the email the phone comes out on 8/31 and sell for $250 after a $150 instant discount and a $100 MIR.

When I check in the settings of my X10 Mini Pro, it says that there's an update available and I need to check PCC to update. When I start PCC and plug in my phone, it says I am fully up-to data Can anybody help? I think my phone is generic
View 18 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure how many of you have noticed, but the reporting system of Google Checkout has been broken since around noon on Friday. Orders continue to display in the web interface, but any attempt to query for orders via HTTP requests or exporting orders to .csv files only returns updated information prior to 3/5/10. For example, if you had 50 sales yesterday and tried to access the orders via the notification API or my exporting a spreadsheet, the request would return no information.
I'm not even sure that the Google Checkout team is aware there is a problem. I posted a message in the Google Checkout forum:

There has been no official response. I realize it was over the weekend, but it's really starting to have a negative impact. If you are a dev affected by this, please either post in the thread I linked to or try to contact Google. If someone from Google actually reads this, could you please try to make the relevant team aware of this issue if they are not already?
I ordered password manager for dolphin browser HD2, they pulled back the app refunded my money and said this,"Thank you for using Google Checkout. In an ongoing effort to provide a safe purchasing environment, Google reviews orders on a regular basis.For your security, we've cancelled the following order" "Google Checkout no longer processes orders for this merchant. If you'd still like to make a purchase from Dolphin Browser Add-ons, please contact this merchant directly or feel free to retry your order with another merchant" Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have a better explanation than the canned response from Google's legal team.

I was wondering if this number is stored anywhere on your device after you purchase an app, and if it is, is there anything in the API to allow an android app to retrieve this number. View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm writing an app that shows in google maps pipes and valves(lines and points). For that i've two classes.
One extends from ItemizedOverlay, and i add to map overlay one for each category of valve, and each one can have more than one item.
The second extends from Overlay, and in the draw method y draw the line with the method drawline of the canvas.
The problem i've is that the lines are drawn over the ItemizedOverlay items, no matter the order i add them to the mapView.getOverlays().
I want the lines on the bottom of all overlays. is there a way to do that.
Does anyone know if Sprint has a website to view the status of network issues? My Evo has no data now in Boulder CO and I was wondering if it is my phone or the Sprint network.

I figured it was just the phone acting retarded since it was rooted and romed and it's been randomly restarting a lot too, so who knows...
So I bought a Galaxy Nexus second hand and it works great. But ever since I signed into my Google account with it it's started doing the same freaking thing! Opens up "goolgle" when I open the browser.

I like HTC sense but think that the icons are getting boring, I downloaded the droid icons (2.0 icons) and used better cut to change it. But it will not work with HTC Sense so i am using the 3 Page android one. My question is, is their any download in the market or online that lets you add the Sense widgets to the normal android screens. I have astro file explorer and will try to search for the widgets in the htc folder and copy them to the android widgets folder.

Every time I open up my browser, it opens a new window with Google, over the one I had precious been viewing. I'm running Home++ with 2.0.1. Is there an option I can toggle to change this feature back, so the browser will simply pick up where it left off, and not opening a new window?

Is there a way I can fix this issue? I have purchased numerous things using my Google Apps account and all the information is current.
I did a number of searches regarding this issue, but either the question goes unanswered or the response is "just create another Google account to buy the app". I would rather not have to create another account just for this. If anyone knows how to correct this, please let me know.
