HTC Desire HD :: All SMS Disappeared After Update Firmware
Last night they were all there, this morning nothing. At first I thought it was just slow to load them, it sometimes happens & you wait for a couple of seconds then they all appear. But not today. I updated my firmware yesterday twice - first to 1.32.405.3 and then to 1.32.405.6 - but they were definitely there after the updates. I've seen some other threads with the same issue on other phones but they're all at least a few months old. htcsense.com has, disaapointingly, not got all of my messages either. It seems to have most of them (including the last one I sent) but somehow is missing some in between.

Android :: Official Update For G1 Andriod Developer Phone (ADP) Stock Firmware
This is my first post and I am new to Android so excuse my ignorance if this is well documented and common knowledge. I have a stock ADP, firmware 1.0, no updates no mods and of course I want to get the latest features such as voice control, latitude etc, and so begins the fun. Why is there nothing official that can be easily found which states what is going on for people that own the ADP? I must have read dozens of articles showing update procedures and claiming to have leaked OFFICIAL developer updates and only recently did i find 2 thread that eventually end with something stating there is NO official update for developer phones yet. I have 2 gripes about this: 1. Why no official and clear statement from the development team to clarify this before people start scrambling desperately to install leaked versions that are false? (I know I almost did) 2. Why as a developer do I have to wait for features that are already available to end users?

HTC Desire :: 2.2 With Sense - Wifi Disabled Since Last Firmware Update
I think I've read on the thread about the Froyo 2.2 release, that a rom has been leaked that will work with Sense on the Desire? Has anyone got any links/guides to getting this to work? Secondly, I've currently got my phone debranded but this has led to my wifi being disabled since the last firmware update, I know I'll have to root my phone to install the 2.2 rom but will this then mean I will have to input the network code as that's what I was told would need to happen if I was to reflash my phone with the unbranded rom again.

HTC Desire :: Still No Bluetooth Voice Dialling In Official Desire Froyo
I have posed this question in some threads but as yet have made no progress.I am just curious as to why HTC appear to have left out the Bluetooth Voice Dialler function that can be provided by the Froyo 2.2 O/S. I believe this feature is present and enabled in some of the cooked roms and also in the Nexus one Vanilla 2.2 so why not here?If I have missed somthing simple or if anyone is aware why it is missing or how I can activate it that would be fantastic!

HTC Desire :: Calendar - Software/firmware Upgrade
Hi - I just bought a Desire and can see that the Calendar program is not as good as it should be. 1. If a multiple day all day event is tapped when the user is on the month view, the next window simply shows the event on that day as an all day event. It should really show the start and end dates of the event. Currently the only way I can find to see this information is by editing the event then cancelling the edit screen. 2. If a "non-all day" event is created that starts on Monday @ 11:00am and ends on thursday at 3:00pm, then when I tap on the event in month view it shows the event happening SEPARATELY on every day between 11am and 3pm. It should say Monday 11am - Thursday 3pm. Currently the only way I can find to see this information is by editing the event then cancelling the edit screen. These are hard to explain but easy to see when you try it on the phone. I think these issues need to be fixed in any software/firmware upgrade that there may be. Loving the phone though. Glad I went for it instead of iPhone

I have rooted my phone and currently running DeFroST 2.7 Rom Android version 2.2, (did this back in early august) I basically would like to know what the current latest update for my HTC Desire is. I just purchased my HTC Desire, its Factory unlocked and I just want to confirm the latest version of the device. mine is Firmware Version: 2.1 update 1 Software Number: 1.21.405.2 also when froyo does come officially, will I be able to use OTA to install it? as the device I am using is not from my region, I believe it is from the UK and I'm using in Dubai - will this affect the OTA?

Samsung Behold 2 :: No Update File Exists Message When I Check Update Firmware
The version of the software that is most current is version 6 (the phone shipped with version 3). To ascertain version: Go to Dialer/Hit Star/#9999# You will see the PDA; Phone; and Software Version numbers in this section The T939xxxx6 for PDA AND PHONE and then Software Version - ending in .006 on the last line. I was told that the reason that I keep seeing the "No update file exists" message when I check "update firmware" is because I have the latest version. At some point my phone was updated without giving me a message. I did notice the red and blue arrows yesterday. But there was no message. My SD card mounted and dismounted on its own and gave an error message, and then all references to the error and SD card disappeared. If your phone is/has exhibited this sort of behavior, you may already have the update.

Sprint HTC Hero : Can't Upgrade To 1.56.651.2 - Firmware Update Always Reported No Update Available
I went through all the troubleshooting steps in the "Update Available From Sprint" thread, making sure I was on v1.29.651.1, yada yada. Worked on this for a week and a half. Spoke with Sprint, spoke with HTC, no luck. Going to firmware update always reported NO UPDATE AVAILABLE. Took the phone back to Best Buy and demanded an exchange. After receiving the new phone, went to try to firmware update, it showed that one was available. I asked for my old battery back since it was charged fully so that I could do the update. Put my old battery back in, went to update, NO UPDATE AVAILABLE! Turns out it was my battery? Put the new one back in and the update was successful. HTC Desire :: "Official" File But Widgets Missing
OK, I used the suggested official unbranded RUU from Shipped ROMS to restore my SIM-free and unbranded Desire to stock but it seems that there are various things missing. I have no email widget and there is no Mobile Network toggle widget under Settings>Power control (in fact, there are none of the usual toggle widgets in there). It just seems to be missing other things that I can't put my finger on as well.I'm re-rooting to reset my battery stats anyway so can someone point me towards a file that is, without question, the right file for a UK unbranded and SIM-free Desire? Need to send it back to HTC when I get my Desire HD so they can sort my overheating issue out prior to selling it.

HTC EVO 4G :: Firmware Update Or HTC Software Update?
Does anyone have an idea what the difference is between the Firmware Update - 1.47.651.1 (21.43 MB) and the HTC software update 1.32.651.6 (13.14MB) is? My phone prompted me to do the Firmware update this afternoon and it worked great. I checked my wifes EVO this evening and noticed she still had the older software version 1.32.651.1.When I checked for a Firmware Update nothing is available for her phone. However, if I check for the HTC software Update it shows 1.32.651.1 is available for download. This isn't the same version I was prompted to download this afeternoon.

Android :: 2.2 Firmware Update And Bluetooth Audio
Has anyone else starting experience issues with bluetooth audio since the 2.2 firmware update? I have never had any issues with the bluetooth audio connection with Microsoft Sync in my car but since the update I can't get through a track without drops all over the place. I am forced to connect via the audio cable; then everything is fine. Like I said, I very occasional hiccup before the update; now it is all the time.

Android :: HTC Missing App From Market After Firmware Update / How To Fix?
I'm not sure who I should complain to about this, HTC or Google, but after I did the most recent Hero (sprint) firmware update I am unable to see applications that I developed nor several applications that I paid for (and free ones) on the Market. This makes updating them unavailable. Also, if I do a factory reset on my phone, then I will not be able to download these paid for applications again. What's the deal here? A friend of mine who also did the firmware update is in the same boat. Since I do have applications out there that people are buying, I am now unable to view comments for those since I cannot see them on the Market. What's the solution to this? Should I contact HTC as well?

Android : How To Use - Get Themes / Apps - If I Should Update My Firmware
So, as you all probably know by now i'm new. and i'm completely new to the android world. I have been a blackberry user for a very long time. 2 days ago I got an android (htc hero) and I would love it if anyone could give me some basics or someplace to go so I can get the hang of things. I'd like to know about how to use/get themes, apps that are a must, if I should update my firmware, etc etc. If anyone has tips or can point me in the right direction, please do so.
