HTC Desire :: MMS Blank Text Being Sent To Me When I Turn On Fone
I keep getting a blank mms text every time I turn on my phone Its really getting on my nerves now. I use chompsms app which I like but I noticed ever since I sent a mms for the first time the other day iam getting this black text which says no receipients but its blank. how can I stop this?.

Motorola Droid :: Could Not Turn Off The Phone - Screen Turned Blank
Well, what happened was my screen turned blank. I could not turn off the phone. It was just blank. The buttons on the bottom of the phone will light on and off when pressing the power button. What am i suppose to do in this situation or any other situation where my Droid isnt acting right? Well, i didnt know what to do so i just took out the battery and put it back in. I am not sure if thats the proper way of doing it. I hope my phone will be okay after that. So, whats the right way of going at it?

Just a heads up about text messaging billing. Alright call me cheap, but I only have the $5 250 messages on my plan but it suits me just fine I never go over.Well i just got my bill and wouldnt you know I went over by almost double. Turns out more often then I thought I was sending blank texts and double texts. People weren't saying anything to me because they thought that it was just user error but when it kept happening people finally started saying something to me.Its not worth trying to argue with verizon over it, its like $14, so I will just up my plan a bit, but just watch it.For some of you its moot because you have unlimited, but for those that dont just thought I would share.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1/X2 :: Stopped Working - While Writing A Text And The Screen Went Blank
I've had my Xperia X1 since christmas 2008, About 2 weeks ago while i was writing a text and the screen went blank so i just thought my battery had gone. when i got home i put it on charge over night and when i got up in morning i tried turning it on and nothing happened (i mean that little vibrate it dones when it switches on), so i took the battery out for 5 minutes then put it back in and tried again and it did that vibrate thing but nothing came up on screen but then someone started ringing me (still nothing on screen) and when i pressed button to answer it, it wouldn't answer and kept on ringing. I've tried updating the software from my laptop and i think it updated it but i couldn't tell because i can't see anything lol but it's still the same. i haven't dropped it or anything so i haven't got a clue why it's suddenly stopped working.....

HTC Desire :: Blank SD Card - Formatted As RAW
My Desire has suddenly stopped recognizing my 4GB SD Card today. Just says it's blank and needs formatting! When I try to access the card via my PC it just wants to format it but when I bring up the format window the PC only sees 30MB and a format of FAT. The Properties show it formatted as RAW. The Error Notification I get is: Blank SD Card - SD Card blank or has unsupported file system. Is my card fried or is there a way out of this?

HTC Desire :: Screen Stays Blank
The thing is that time to time my device does not respond to screen touch. For instance: then there is an incoming call it stays blank and I can not see who is calling and at the same time not able to answer it. Touching the screen does nothing, only after pushing hard buttons, I am able to terminate the call. Also, when I am trying to access the OS from sleep mode by pressing the power button--there is no home screen--it stays blank. The only thing it does---the lights go on the home, menu, back and search buttons. I did contact ot HTC help service and they told me to try to use the device in safe mode for two days. (this should terminate all 3rd party applications, that might cause the issue). Its my first day that I am use is in the safe mode and so far I do not experience any problems. I do suspect that the reason of my problem could be the task killer that I am using in order to eliminator some programs running in background. But I did try out several task killers so far, however the issue remains the same

HTC Desire :: Blank Screen During After Call
I have an HTC Desire and I managed to break the LCD. I had the LCD and touchscreen replaced (don't ask long story) and now I have the following issue: When I make a call and even before I lift the phone to my ear the screen goes blank. None of the buttons work but the call is fine - I can be heard/hear the other person. When the other person ends the call the phone bips to tell me the call is over, but the screen stays blank. I can re-activate the screen by receiving a missed call - ie calling my phone and then hanging up re-activates the screen. In addition, when my phone rings the screen is fine, but as soon as I answer the call and lift the phone to my ear the screen goes off as before. The only other way to bring the screen back is to remove the battery. Whilst the screen is blank I loose all touch-screen capability too. Everything else on the phone works perfectly, sync to email, text, GPS, camera, internet etc all not a problem.

HTC Desire :: Screen Goes Blank On Calls
Had a HTC desire now for a couple of weeks and Ive come across an annoying problem, when I make or recieve a call and raise the phone to my head the screen goes blank which in it's self is fine, but after the call has concluded the screen remains blank and there appears to be know why to get it to leap back into life ive tried moving /jiggling the phone and pressing all the buttons including the power, the only way seems to be to remove the battery and force a reboot. Anyone else experienced this or have any ideas that might help solve it?

HTC Desire :: Memory - Turn Off Phone And Turn It Back On It Goes Up To 250M
So I use the task killer...and at the moment say when I kill tasks it'll tell me there is about 200M avaliable memory free...if I use the phone for a day it'll maybe go down to 150M even if I am still killing apps and there is nothing in 'running services'. If i turn off the phone and turn it back on it goes up to 250M. What is running that I can't stop myself to make it go down from the 250M but that I can just eliminate by turning off the phone?

Got my HTC desire couple of weeks ago and have had this problem since. Everytime I turn on my phone I get a new blank from anonymous that sits on my SD card; I know its on my SD card because there's a logo of an SD card on the text bubble. Even if I delete it, it will reappear. Even if I try black list it will reappear. The date of the text message used to be consistently the same as well as the same time until today. Where are texts held on the sd card?

My aim was to upgrade to froyo. I set up my GoldCard. I then upgraded the RUU to the following with no problems RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4. 06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed. Now my phone boots with no display, I hear the boot music and the phone is seen by the RUU upgrade if I go back in but no display.

HTC Desire :: Weather On Home Screen Blank?
On the Desire home screen I have a clock with what should be the weather info underneath which is the standard home screen.The weather info is blank apart from the name of a nearby village which i believe is where the nearest phone mast is located. (the picture on the box the phone came shows Barcelona with lots of weather info).If I tap on the blank area next to whe name I get the weather screen opening up with the name of the village where the mast is, and the word "current" in brackets next to it and the info is all showing "0" if I update it the message appears "no weather data available".I can chose another location (various pre loaded or choose Manchester UK by searching ) then choosing my desired location which then shows data.When I return to the main desire home screen the village name is back under the clock with no weather info.I guess the HTC is trying to get the weather data for the mast location nearest my phone as a default setting, I dont know how or if I can override this so that I can have my desired location (ie Manchester uk) wether data showing under the clock on the home page permanently.

HTC Desire :: Point Blank Won't Work - GPS - Broken / Faulty?
the GPS on my Desire is shocking - it point-blank won't work if there's ANYTHING over my head, so useless in cars/trains/buses, and if i'm out on the street it'll either not work at all or take upwards of 2 minutes to lock a signal. was chatting to a friend about it this weekend, and he whipped out his nexus one and had a locked signal within seconds of opening google maps, whereas mine still refused to budge. have i got a duff handset, or are other people finding this an issue? i'm on Orange, although i'm presuming that GPS isn't reliant on the carrier...

I was surprised that I really couldn't find much on this, but I can't be the only one with the problem. My Droid Eris is sending blank text messages repeatedly. Is the phone faulty or is there some setting that I can change. I downloaded ChompSMS hoping that would fix it, but it doesn't appear to. When I open my text messaging program, many times it will send a blank text to the last person I texted. The other day, I turned the phone off and turned it back on and it sent a blank text at the exact time I turned it on.

That thing, you know, where it "guesses" which word you want to type? How do I turn it off? I hate it. Yesterday, instead of asking someone to email me. I asked them to enslave me. HTC Droid Eris :: When I Turn On It Resends Text - How Do I Stop This?
Whenever I turn on my phone, it will resend a text that I sent to someone from a conversation previous to when I turned it off. It used to send just blank texts to the first one or two or three people in my messages, but now it sends full texts that I sent from before by itself. I deleted all my undelivered texts. Plus I got task killer and I shut down my messages before I turn my phone off but it still does it. How do I stop this!

Sprint HTC Hero : Turn Xml File Back Into Text Messages?
So the charging port broke on my old hero, and i got a replacement. And i downloaded sms backup to take all my texts and turn them into an xml file on the sd card. On the new hero, i downloaded the same program but it does not seem to want to restore the texts back. Any ideas on how to take that XML file and turn them back into text messages?

HTC Desire :: Unable To Send Text - Warning Persists Despite Text Being Sent
My HTC Desire was running well but I've developed a really irritating issue which seems to have started since the Froyo update (O2). Quite often when I send text/sms messages I get the Unable To Send error warning in the top left of the main screen. At first I was hitting the Resend option all the time but it keeps coming back and I noticed that if I check my text messages All Messages box then the message has actually been sent, yet the Unable to Send message persists until I use the Clear option. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

Motorola Droid :: Phone Location App To Turn GPS On Remotely Via Codeword Text / Internet Site?
I'm looking for an app that'll help me find my phone via GPS without always having to have GPS enabled. I have Wave Secure and it doesn't have an option to turn my GPS on remotely, Lookout Mobile Security is the same way and Where's My Droid app requires GPS to be previously enabled. The Internet location ability's accuracy within 200-1000ft radius doesn't seem useful if my phones stolen. I don't think walking from door to door, trying to listen in on each house for my alarm would work out too well. Any app that could turn my GPS on remotely via codeword text or Internet site would be extremely useful.
