HTC 4G :: EVO Doesn't Recognize SD Card
My EVO is acting up. It was working fine one day, I could take pictures, listen to music on my SD card, etc, but then out of nowhere, the phone does not see the SD card. The phone says "Removed SD card. SD card removed. Insert a new one." I have tried removing the SD card, then starting the phone without the SD card, then putting the SD card back in, but it still doesn't recognize the card. I cannot mount the phone as disk drive in my computer (I do not even have the option). Has this happened to anybody else? Does anybody know what I can do to fix this?

HTC Desire :: HTC Sync 3 Doesn't Recognize Device
So, this is what I did - fiddled around with the phone a bit before finally deciding to install HTC Sync.Downloaded the latest version (3.x) from HTC's website. The software and drivers installed without a problem. The device, however, was not recognized by Sync. Try as I might.Tinkered with the settings in the handset, too - eg. prompt to choose function (I don't even get a prompt when I connect the USB!), checked debugger mode, et al.The phone continues to charge; and that's the only thing that happens.I am running Windows XP (32 bit), SP3. (While downloading the software from HTC's website, I had chosen the option 'Asia no use.I went a step further - by trying to install the older version (2.0.28). Found it on the internet.

Samsung Moment : Phone Doesn't Recognize PC Via Usb / PDANet In 2.1
While playing around with Titanium, I was prompted to enable USB Debugging. I remembered having turned this on pre-2.1 for PDANet. However, when I plugged my phone into my PC via USB, it didn't recognize it. So I thought maybe I'd reinstall PDANet to get whatever drivers it loaded to use the USB in Debug mode. I did that, and installed the Samsung USB driver it says to install, but it keeps telling me during PDANet install that it doesn't have the driver. Anyone have any advice here?

Samsung Epic 4G :: My Computer Doesn't Recognize It - How To Mount? Drivers?
Okay, so if you are freaking out, or can't figure out why your new Epic isn't being recognized by your computer, calm down. Some of you are probably already searching for drivers. Ya I already went through that freak out when I got my Vibrant. Okay, to mount your phone, and have your computer recognize the internal/external memory, do this:Connect your phone to your computer via USB. Give it a few seconds.Next, PULL DOWN your notification bar. Next, tap your finger on "USB CONNECTED"You then get a message asking if you would like to mount. Tap "mount" confirming you would like to do so.Enjoy, your computer should now recognize the internal/external memory.BTW, reverse this process before pulling the usb cable out. Always remove a cable safely, otherwise the data can get corrupt. Don't just yank your cable out.Edit: some of you may also find the following useful. Hopefully the Epic is similar to the Vibrant in these setting

HTC EVO 4G :: Phone Cannot Recognize SD Card Anymore - Not Available
This morning I started seeing errors about the SD card not being available. I checked under setting and sure enough it wasn't available. It worked perfectly yesterday. The first thing I thought of was that the card went bad since I bought a 16GB one off eBay. So I shut down and replaced the SD card with the 8GB one it came with. No change. The phone just doesn't recognize an SD card anymore.

HTC Incredible : After Putting The Sd Card The Device Still Doesnt Recognize It
I got my HTC incredible 2 days ago. When I first got it it had no sd card, so i went back to the store and the guy gave me one. But even after putting the sd card in the device the device still doesnt recognize it. When I go to the settings and click on sd card and phone storage under sd card it says, total space: unavailable, available space: unavailable. this is a major problem cause now i cant download files or use several applications or features. ive tried taking it out and putting it back in, restarting the phone, and formatting the sd card to no avail. i'm no tech expert, but pretty tech savvy. This problem, though, has me pulling my hair out. it seems like a lot of ppl have been having the same problem, but no one has any answer that seems to be working. im going to the store tomorrow to see if its a problem with the sd card, but wanted to check if it was a problem with the phone or if anyone else has had the same problem.

HTC Desire :: Phone Not Recognize Micro SDHC 8GB Memory Card
As I had a Nokia N85 laying around, containing a 8GB micro SDHC class 6 memory card, I was planning on using this on my desire, since that only came with a 4gb card. However, I formatted the 8GB card in windows, (to fat 32). (I've might have formatted the partitions and everything as well). But either the Desire or PC cant find my SD card at this point. When I put the 8gb card into my N85 and then connect the N85 to my PC, the computer finds it. My N85 has no problem locating the SD card either. What to I have to do to the SD card to be able to use it with my Desire?

Nexus :: Nexus One Doesn't Recognize SIM Anymore?
I recently bought a rooted N1 off of ebay. I plugged my SIM in and everything worked fine all day yesterday. I went to sleep on my bed, with the N1 in my pocket, and when I woke up the phone was indicating that there was no SIM card in the phone. I rebooted the phone, and factory reset it, yet it still indicated that there was no SIM inside the phone. I put my SIM card in my wife's iPhone and the phone worked fine. 1) Could sleeping with it in my pocket have done this? 2) Did I just buy a dud off of Ebay? And if so, how is this possible because it worked all day yesterday?

HTC EVO 4G : 3 Different OSes - Still Cant Recognize ADB
i tried on a win 7, vista, and xp machine to install the ADB drivers I install the latest SDK. download the latest drivers through SDK(pack 3 i believe). Restart the machine, restart phone. I try to search for the files in the "C:android-sdk-windows" folder where i unzipped this. I even went as far as to go to "C:android-sdk-windowsusb_driveri386" to search for the drivers but none of them ever find it. Because of this i cant root, use the new recovery, or use the RUU files to go back to the stock rom because they all look for ADB. I was originally trying to take the unrevoked root off so i could use toast's method by flashing the stock ROM. Both UU_Supersonic_1.32.651.6_Radio_1.39.00.05.31_rele ase_171253_signed AND RUU_Supersonic_1.32.651.1_Radio_1.39.00.04.26_rele ase_171253 do not recognize it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Android :: ADP Will Not Recognize Phone
I found https://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thre but I cannot respond to that thread anymore (perhaps they expire?). I've tried with both the 1.5 SDK and the 1.6 SDK. I have tried all the suggestions in the aforementioned thread. I can mount the device just fine, but adb does not work whether it is mounted or not. I've tried it both as root and as myself and with it in $PATH as well as using. In the dir. Adb appears to "work" as it tells me "List of devices attached". At some point right after I installed 1.5, I remember setting something up to make the USB connection easier, but I don't remember what that was. My hypothesis at this point is that is somehow interfering, but any help you can give either way would be much appreciated.

Samsung Galaxy S :: Kies Won't Recognize
Don't see quite this issue: -Windows XP Pro fully patched to SP3 running on Toshiba Satellite P104. -Loaded and installed Kies, direct DL from Samsung Website, supposed to be latest version as at 10/10/2010. -When I connect the phone, I have it set to prompt for type of connection. I select Kies, and it immediately shows "MTP Application, screen flashes, shows "initializing" with 4 dots running. Screen then flashes, and it says the same thing over and over. -Windows Device Manager shows MTP Application supposedly working and installed under "Portable Devices" -Kies shows "connecting to device" forever, then quits and never connects to device. -Immediately I unplug the USB from the phone (only way to quit the cycle, pressing the home screen key does not do anything) Windows immediately prompts and says "Windows has installed device drivers but they may not work until you reboot your computer. -Naturally I reboot my computer (have done several times, and with the phone connected to various different USB ports, and checking to make sure a flawed driver is not lurking in device manager, it doesn't show one there). The phone DOES connect in Storage and Internet mode, just fine. It only does this if trying to connect in Kies mode, or in Media Player mode. ALSO, this phone DID connect to Kies at my ex workplace just fine, so it seems unlikely it's the phone. I never had tried to connect to this laptop, only since I lost the job and am at home for awhile. So.............. Can anyone assist me with how to get the computer to properly load the correct drivers so that it will recognize my Galaxy S?

Samsung Galaxy S :: Windows Can't Recognize Phone
After successfully sorting out all the troubles of connecting SGS to KIES, and been using it happily for almost a month, now I'm facing another trouble which is quite big this time. Windows Vista (32-bit) and Windows 7 (64-bit) can't recognize the phone when connected through the USB. Got a message says the USB Device/Hardware Is Not Recognized. I'm using the SGS original cable. The cable was working perfectly and now suddenly it doesn't work in data mode but still able to recharge the phone battery. Am I having a cable problem? Or worst, the USB connector (on the phone) problem? I tried to clean the USB connector on the phone but still can't connect the phone to my computers.
