I was trying to setup google account by choosing "Data Synchronization-> Google Sync" It was asking my google account and I was signing in it says "This could be a temporary problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data services. Please try again when you are connected. It it continues, call Customer Care."
In my mobile Airtel Live is active. I tried contacting Airtel Customer Care. They say that "this connectivity problem is with you phone. Please contact Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, customer care. I tried "Sony Ericsson Xperia Customer Care, No Use. I'm tired of doing this and I'm frustrated of not using any useful application by having this costly xperia in my hand.
Just got SGS2 and for the life of me can't sign in to Gmail, so no access to Market...etc.....after pressing the stock Gmail Client Icon and entering my gmail id and password.....the phone seems to take a couple of minutes to try to sign in and then comes back with unreliable data connection msg...i am using good Wi Fi connection and don't have a network data connection yet.
I successfully set up a couple of gmail accounts when I first got my phone and now wish to add a third. However the phone now says it is unable to establish a working data connection. This is definitely not the case. It comes up with this before checking the account credentials so it is not a password issue.
After purchasing of HTC tattoo, i have tried signup in gmail setup. It was working fine. Then i cleaned up gmail & google app memory for another gmail account setup. Now i can't able to sign-in gmail, gtalk and market setup. Can anyone help me to resolve this without factory reset? because I have lot of applications&data inside
I know that my question is a little strange. I want to synchronize my Google phone with outlook only with the USB cable. In this question I'm not connected to Internet so i can't be connected to a gmail account. For example with Iphone/Itunes it is possible
i am unable to creat gmail account in anroid market from my x10 mini pro. while installation it fails and show a message that "cannt establish a reliable data connection to the server." kindly advise how to rectify this?
I am working on Android App and unable to synchronize View with Hardware. Let me explain. 1) I mute and unmute microphone of Android based on random values (which are random sleeps) stored in array A, from within run method of Thread 1. 2) I draw blue pulses that reflects the mutes of microphone. This is done by independent View class. 3)I move a red line across the graph drawn in above view, by calling from within onTick of a countdown timer. I start the two threads one after other, this way: Thread1.start counter.start();
How to synchronize both of these, I want to do three things at a time and avoid multiple threads. Three things are: Draw the pulses (which is constant), make the red line move across x axis and touch the blue pulse as soon as the phone is muted, and keep moving every second, the width of pulse reflects duration of delay. as soon as microphone is about to be unmuted, red line should leave the pulse and move forward. Currently, code is doing what I want. but there is no synchronization. Either microphone does its job first, or graph moves fast. They are not in Sync. Is there a way to hold a thread, force it to behave as coutdowntimer or sync both of them. I cannot embed the red line movement in thread 1 because, it will have to progress across x axis every second.
I am unable to synchronize the contacts with my phone. Whatever I add in the phone, it is synchronized with Gmail and I could see the new contact in the Gmail contacts. However, whatever additions I do in the Gmail, such as adding new contacts etc, are not reflecting in my phone.
Droid X - Configured with a Google Apps Premiere, working great. Attempting to add a personal GMail account. Go to the GMail app, select add account, fill in the metrics and then...... "Needs to communicate" message for ~ 3 minutes, then bombs out with - "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server". 3G is fine, on a wifi connection that is fine, web browser works fine..... Google Apps account works fine.
Migrating to a new Gmail account without losing everything Android related? Like a few people I know, I made a Gmail account a few years ago before android was this big and (like the naive child I was) didn't make a very professional email address. Migrating to a new Gmail account I created. Copying contacts and mail is easy enough, but what about everything related to Android?
I'm trying to add a second gmail account (my wife's), and I keep running into a response message after a couple of minutes, saying "Can't establish a reliable data connection on the server". I've tried forcing the transaction through Wi-Fi and cellular paths, always with the same result.
I see any number of threads in a variety of forums with this problem, going back months, but I didn't find any viable solutions. The most common solution offered is to do a factory reset on the phone, which I'm not near ready to do yet.
Any way to use a non-google e-mail address to setup a google account? I could've sworn this was possible before. I'm basically getting my kids Nexus 7's but rather than sign them all up for gmail when they already have e-mail accounts, I was hoping I could just use their existing e-mails for simplicity.
I have received emails with pictures in the email that I want to download to my phone. I am not anywhere near wi-fi to download the picture. When I try to download the pictures they will just sit there and then time out. Any setting issue.
can i move my apps from one gmail account to another so i dont need to have both accounts on my phone. i am moving to another google account and the only issues i have left are the apps that i bought on the old account and downloaded.
I'm new to android so it may just be user error, but I'd like to think I'm fairly tech savvy and its not me.I've had my Epic for more than a month (got it on release day)
1.)I have a gmail account already on the phone and linked up.. but the email to it is somewhat complicated so i created another account via gmail.com (on the computer) and im having trouble having the phone connecting to the server and hosting the account.i think this might be a temporary google issue.
2.)I just got into a group at school that requires me to have a calendar.so i tried to creating all of my dates and times on my phone and then syncing it but apparently i had "My Calendar" checked so it won't go do i have to start over? and will it work this time?
3.)I just now decided that i also want to sync my contacts to my gmail account, but i already have 150+ contacts in my phone.I understand that you have to select save to "google" as opposed to "phone" when saving a new contact my question is... do i have to manually go through all 150+ contacts and change this? or is there another way to sync them?
I just created a gmail account/profile and i wanted to use this new account in my existing Samsung S4 which i have login with another gmail account.I manage to remove the old account ID and login with the new ID, all sync was done. BUT i found that some of my existing contact is without name but having the phone number and i am not sure if there is any missing contacts?
Then I retry to login with the old ID and the contacts details came back to normal with one or two without the names.
I set up a gmail account on my moms razr the other day after trying to tell her it was better than yahoo. How do I get the contacts that are already synced into her phone to sync with her gmail account?
The question is ,My gmail account is logged in along with my facebook account on the phone ,I have not installed any antivirus(as i keep puttin new roms into them) ,I Got a call from my friend who said that the I am anline on the gmail,But i was not infront of any comp or so,it hit me that my phone had the account ,even my fb account was online. So i called my number and i realised that ,the person who stole it had taken the sim off. I just flashed my Sony Ericson Xperia Play with a custom kernal and ROM. I am attempting to connect to the google play store but it wont let me use my yahoo account. When it says to enter my account it asks for a google account and my yahoo account is currently associated with google, i have been able to download apps for my phone through this account before (Before flashing the phone).
It's not the flash which has made it impossible to use my yahoo account but the fact that i need a gmail account now to download apps. In the past i have been able to use my yahoo account but i cannot get it to work.
How i can log into the play store with my yahoo account? Is it impossible to access the play store with a non gmail account or that you cant have a google account associated with a non gmail email address i will post screenshot for proof.
Is it possible to use a google account for features such as google contacts and latitude? I know this is not possible for Android market, but would it be possible for other google products? I saw it is possible on this Android 2.0 review: Android 2.0 Review: Almost Human Did they remove this feature from the 2.1 that Hero uses, or can't I just find it?
I have a few email address' and I would like to know if there is anyway to hide 1 of those email address' from the Accounts & Sync in the Settings. Either that or anyway to reorganize the way the address' show up so I can keep 1 address out of site if the phone is checked?
I'd like to sell my HD2 running Android. However I cannot get it to reset the gmail account that I entered on it. These are things I've tried. Its a windows based hd2 running android so the correct section was a little confusing. Also I didn't flash it and of course the person that did isn't around compounding the issue. I need to maintain the flash but if I can't I can't .
1. data reset, several times 2. deleting the account ( I get an error saying, " This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults"). 3. Going in and clearing "google apps" which doesn't exist.
