I installed the new firmware and now newly installed apps work. The problem is that apps that were installed while the beta firmware was installed still do not work after I restart my phone, even after I unintall and reinstall the app. There must be something left from the app even after

And everything I mean every rom's contents, busybox, scripts, etc. I once use one GB rom and it can run NFS Most Wanted very smooth, but after playing with scripts/tweaks too much, it turn out that the game lag more than before. So, I want to completely wipe everything and start over. Does the "Full Wipe" (Wipe data/factory reset+Wipe Cache+Wipe Dalvik cache+Format system+data+cache) do the job? Or maybe there is something more?

General :: Completely Remove App And Leave No Trace?

May 9, 2013

I have an app that when someone downloads it from the Play Store, recognizes the phone and connects to a server (Internet is needed) so every time I open it I have all my data and my "app activity" shown there. So, here's the thing: I want to sell the phone to a friend of mine, but I don't want (neither does he) to reset to factory because he wants a large amount of the apps I have already installed and it is part of the price.

So, I ask you: Is there a way to completely remove-uninstall an app and ALL of its data so that there is no way for the app to have MY data displayed, and basically the app is "reseted' to factory, so that my friend can use from scratch?

General :: Any Way To Remove Factory Reset Option From Recovery?

Dec 20, 2013

I'm on a team that manages a large number of Android tablets for the company at which I'm employed. The higher ups are concerned that our users will just walk off with the tablets and do a factory reset, making the device theirs. I was hoping there was some way to password-protect the bootloader, but it doesn't seem like that's possible. So now we're thinking that even if we could remove the recovery, it would ease the minds of the higher-ups to know that if a tablet disappears, the user will have to have a working knowledge of fastboot to be able to to a factory reset on the device, and that's good enough for us. I've looked into possibly modifying the stock recovery to just remove the factory reset option, and I would be willing to flash a modified CWM or TWRP without factory reset, if either of them exist.

I know the old adage: Physical access is root access, but if we can at least dissuade them from stealing the devices, it would make my bosses feel much more at ease about spending a buttload on the tablets.

Motorola Droid X :: Way To Remove Koush's Recovery?

Is there anyway to easily remove the bootstrap? I seem to have jumped the gun without reading that the bootstrap causes you to not be able to upgrade to 2.2. Anyway, I know you can flash the .SBF to the phone (by the way, I have no idea what that .SBF file is.), but I'm looking for a way that you can just remove it without losing all of my applications and such. So is there any easy way to do this? Also, if there is, I'd like to edit my post and put it in here as a tutorial so they can possibly sticky this thread in case anyone gets into a situation such as mine.

Mar 3, 2014

I've managed to create a TOUCH Recovery Carliv v2.2 based on CWM V 6.0.4.4 recovery for the Zen Ultrafone 701HD.....

Link for the TOUCH Recovery Carliv v2.2 based on CWM V 6.0.4.4 recovery for the Zen Ultrafone 701HD.....

[URL]

Mirror :

[URL]

Easiest method to have this recovery for a rooted phone is below.

1.Install mobile uncle tools from Play Store.

2. Place the recovery.img provided in root of SD card.( Rename the recovery file as simply RECOVERY.IMG)

3. open mobile uncle tools and flash the recovery.

The other ways may be followed from this link of Dextrorototrix

[URL]

Full credit for this Recovery goes to Yuweng who created the auto tool CWM Magic Create [URL] found in this link [URL], and Carliv who created the recovery that made it so easy to port to new devices, Napster who shared his touch source with Carliv, and of course the original creator of CWM - Kouch. It took many hours of hard work to get us to where we are today.
