I am trying to compile a kernel for LGE-P690 from CM ICS source but i don't have the device in my hand i searched all over the net for vendor files but i was unsuccessful in finding vendor files for ics but i found one for gingerbread so is there anyway i could perform ./extract-files.sh without device or can i convert gingerbread vendor files to ics if so how elaborate.
I'm trying to compile CM10.2 for my Galaxy i5800, i downloaded the source code from androidarmv6 and the appropriate device folder with prebuilt kernel. After starting "make" everything seemed to be fine but when it started to compile EGL this error appeared:
Code: target thumb C++: libEGL <= frameworks/native/opengl/libs/EGL/egl.cpp /tmp/cc7jJXiM.s: Assembler messages: /tmp/cc7jJXiM.s:894: Error: selected processor does not support Thumb mode `mrc p15,0,r0,c13,c0,3'[codee]....
to Android.mk however the same problem showed up while compiling bionic and it's showing even after adding those lines to bionic's Android.mk .

It happened after I flash my phone with cyanogenmod ROM, i flashed a couple of google apps and a custom kernel. I THINK when i clicked a certain CPU speed in overclocking, it kinda stuck and restarted and had no signal at all... I flashed it again a couple of times even the beta cyanogenmod and dardroidXD, factory reset, wipe data, cache, remove battery. i flashed it with the original firmware with different version but still no avail..
How to start my LG Optimus Net P690 in recovery and downloading mode?
Which is the latest stock firmware available for my LG Optimus Net, my PC suite is always showing that no new version is available, but I am having 2.3.6 in my Galaxy POP while in LG its 2.3.4. LG Optimus Net is actually launched later than the galaxy POP...
Where I can find the LG stock firmwares? Is there any Custom ROMs available for LG Optimus Net P690?
when I compile android (http://source.android.com/download) it does not compile some source files. For example there is external/bluetooth/bluez/sbc/sbc.c which is not compiled. There are also other such files.
It's possible those files need not to be compiled. Or it might be that I need some special configuration to compile them.
Either way, if it is possible, I'd like to compile them. Is there some way to do it? Maybe some "compile_all" make target? (I believe the reason why I want to compile all source files is not important)
I an trying to change my MAC address on my Nexus S running cyanogenmod 10 on android 4.1.2. I found some tutorials but the files can't be found in cm10. I also tried apps like Mac address changer but none work.
So, I've been using CM9 for a while and I want to jump to CM10 nightlies. My question is that if I don't like CM10 for any reason can I just use the backup I made(before going to CM10) to go back to CM9, or do I have to Odin back.........?
I used CM10.1 for a while on my I9000B and decided to go back to stock gingerbread firmware so I installed a full stock rom with odin. Now I want to go back to CM10.1again but this darn thing will not boot at all. No matter what I do the phone takes me to CWM right after powering it up. This did not happen before when I first upgraded to CM10.1 a few months ago. What could possibly be going wrong now?
I have updated my international HTC One X to CM10 ver(10-20121221 NIGHTLY). However, i find that the GPS doesn't pickup any satellites at all.
I went back to my stock ROM and found that the GPS was working fine. On reading some threads about similar problems, i tried downloading AGPS data but that too did not work. I also flashed a AGPS Fix for HTC One X ver3.1 but that too didn't work.
I want to change the icons on cm10 but without using a different launcher. I use Desktop Visualizer but it doesnt change the icon anywhere other than the homescreen. I actually just want to add my own icons into the apk while keeping the stock theme.
how to get ride of the dim player on cm10 lockscreen because when I use colour fill and slide it to 100% transparency the dim layer prevents it from being 100% transparent. how to decompile an apk/jar.
Is it possible two combine to cm10.1 themes? I want to take the battery icons from one theme an ported to another... I've tried opening the apks with 7zip , copying the png from one theme to another, then sign the apk, installed, worked fine but the icons doesn't show, only the default ones. Can this be done?
I'm looking for a way (ANY WAY) to move apps or at least their data to SD card on cyanogenmod 10.1 and to be specific on a samsung galaxy note 2 ..
I have tried DirectoryBind but it seems to be not working on CM10.1 (it works on touchwiz perfectly)
Also I tried swapping memories (internal to external and vice versa) , it worked but installing apps from external sources will not work, or apps in /storage/emulated/0/... Will not be able to installed , but if they are on /storage/sdcard1 they will be able to be installed.. That still a problem ..
I have a 16Gb Nook Tablet that I wiped a long time ago and put CM7 on it. It worked great. Then I put CM9 on it, and it worked great. Then I tried to put CM10 on it. So far, no matter what build I try for CM10.0 or CM10.1, it has the exact same result: After I do the final reboot, it starts to boot up, but gives up and just shuts down (screen goes black, and you have to turn on the device again). Sometimes the CM10 logo starts spinning before it turns off, sometimes it turns off before the spinning CM10 boot logo appears.
I've tried many different builds (only for the Nook Tablet), but they all behave the same (some from the official cyanogenmod web site, some from other xda-developer forum posts for the Nook Tablet).
Is it possible to call screen of cm10 or 10.1 can appear more like miui call screen? I mean transparent. The default caller screen of cm10 is not good. Caller photo almost covered by black screen. You can't see the photo. In miui the caller screen is fully transparent it looks damn nice. So is there any modified apk or any way to make it transparent? Other than using third party app.
