Mar 19, 2012
I am using sony ericsson x10 mini mobile phone. I want to install custom ROM cyanogen 7 gingerbread. But I am facing problem while booting this in recovery mode. I have tried the following.
downloaded custom rom for xperia mini and copied in to sdcard
installed ROM Manager Premium (not purchased, downloaded from google search and it is working fine)
installed root explorer S1 tool
Rooted from superoneclick
downloaded xRecovery and copied into system folder
Flash tool - showing bootloader unlocked, and dont know how to flash phone.
msm7227 - used for unlock boot loader
I have rooted my phone successfully, all above things did successfully, when i am trying to boot my phone into recovery mode then it is not boot in that mode instead it boots in normal mode. What I am doing when phone starts and sonyericcson appears then i continuously pushing button many times but it boots in normal mode. So what I have to do to boot my phone in recovery mode. I have read and tried many guides in your forum but nothing works.
Since I installed Virginity v12 on my S3 Mini I can't boot it in Recovery or download ! I have tried with buttons, with reboot menu... even from Clockwork ! It just boots normally on system ! How do I fix it ?
Just upgraded my wifes X10 mini (unbranded UK version) using the SE PC Compaion. Followed all instructions etc, but its now stuck in a boot loop, restarting just after the full screen coloured animation "spins" into the SE logo and text.
I was a little too enthusiastic about this new device and thought I would get the resolution just right before getting my backup systems in place. Big mistake. When I rebooted, the icons were so small I could not make them out. I finally got back into LCD Density, but was not able to make any changes or revert back. I was just able to make out the android settings menu and navigate to the reset menu. Unfortunately, while the OS was reset the screen density was still not right.
This is the RK3066 dual core android mini pc. I do not know how to boot into recovery. There is no place for a paper clip like on the older mini android pcs. I don't see a tried and true method. I have Android SDK and various root tools on my win 8 desktops.
I am currently trying to help my little brother with an issue he is having with his X 10 mini pro. The problem he is having is that it keeps switching into silent mode of it own accord at random times. I have tried updating the software but that has had no effect. Does anyone know how to sort this issue?
I have upgraded to android 2.1. I am unable to use sync functionality. Even when the connection is perfect and also the user login details are correct, I am unable to sync the phone data with the online data and hence the error is being shown to check the account settings.
Am a new user for xperia x10 mini mobile. Am able to do outgoing calls but am unable to pick the incoming calls. even though call receives my mobile am unable to pick that incoming call.. and its saying " Move the slider" what does this exactly mean. also i dont think there is a slider for this phone.
I activate timescape and it took all my facebook contacts and put it in the address book of my phone, and now i can not see my Sim contacts. how can I undo this, I already turn off facebook in timescape, maybe i should delete it for now as i don't use it, i like to keep my phone contact separate from facebook and access facebook only when i need it. and now i can't configure personal ring for the people i have in my phone book, because it took all the facebook information and its with timescape and doesn't have an option to set a ring for the contact in edit part i just can add it to favorites o delete contact. and i still can not see my Sim contacts they are somewhere because when i tap a name in search bar it shows me the contact and phone, but I'd like to see what i have. i already export my contact from Sim to phone but they still don't show.
I have been trying to update from 1.6 to 2.1 these last few days. Depending on the USB port I either get an error when PC Companion, or Update Service is in the preparation stage, something like: All components needed to continue could not be found. Or I get to the stage when you turn off the phone and restart it with the backbutton pressed which leads to XP wanting to find drivers for SEMC usb flash. By looking through other communities I found those drivers could be found in: C:Program Files (x86)Sony EricssonUpdate ServicesetupdriversUSBFlashDriver.zip. I could initually install those to one USB port, but when trying to download the update through Update Service I get yet another error that the task could not be completed.
When using bluetooth, it connects fine, makes itself discoverable and pairs up with another phone, but when trying to send files like photos to it it can't find my phone? it says it's 'paired but not connected' with the other device.
I have an Android tablet (Diablotek D2-721, very cheap I know, but it serves its purpose) that is stuck in a boot loop. The real problem here is that this device apparently does not have any sort of recovery mode and being in a boot loop means it does not get recognized by ADB or any firmware flashing software.
I researched all day yesterday perusing forum after forum but almost every single solution requires booting into recovery.
My EVO 3D (Sprint) is rooted and is on android version 2.3.4 and I believe it's not an android official release, this is how it was given to me. I'm trying to install CM10.1
I installed ClockworkMod 22.214.171.124 using ROM Manager and since then I haven't been able to boot into recovery mode. I can get into bootloader but not recovery. I've tried powering it on with the volume button down, using the recovery reboot option, and tried using "Reboot into Recovery" in ROM Manager, but I keep seeing the same thing. It boots with the HTC logo then goes black then at this point i believe I should be seeing recovery mode but instead I see the HTC logo again and then it just boots like normal. Is there something I did wrong and is there a way to get recovery to work again?
i am unable to creat gmail account in anroid market from my x10 mini pro. while installation it fails and show a message that "cannt establish a reliable data connection to the server." kindly advise how to rectify this?
Did two different bacups, and I am positive that I did backup of contacts. Also did a bacup of all contacts on my online account at sonyericsson.com Did an upgrade of android 1.6 -> 2.1. I ran restore. Everythinge else is restored, just not one single Name or Number. No contacts. Tried both bacups several times, I get a confirmation that the restore is done. Still nothing. Hooked it up to my PC, and performed a sync with my page on sonyericsson.com. Nothing. I am at a loss. It's always a small disaster to loose all numbers and names. I still have them all, I just can't get my phone to give a ****, it seems. ( Also tried installing the new Backup & Restore (1. Nov), m.sonyericsson.com/backup, but it gives me the message "not installed" every time i try. Nothing more. I think maybe it's because I might allready have that program on my phone).
I am using xperia x10 mini pro, android 2.1 updated, when i try to login to my android market via my gmail id it is saying that you have problem with Internet connection but my Internet connection is working fine.
I updated my galaxy s gt-i9000 to cyanogenmod 10.1,1. everything worked great.... I got a wild hair and decided to upgrade it to 10.3.0 but it went into a boot loop. I then broke out oden, and long story short I soft bricked it. I now actually got my phone to let me restore my backup that I did before I updated it, and it completed successfully. But it only boots into recovery mode. What I can do?
I used my galaxy ace (I had the low memory icon) when playstore has updated an application, then suddenly all my applications are set to "force stop" including Holo launcher, so I rebooted, but the I had teh cyanogenmod 7 icon repeat (bootloops) I cann't access to the recovery mode (I had RAMDUMP mode (ARM9 mode)) I can access to the "downloading" mode so I wanted to flash a stock rom (even three in fact) with odin multidownload 4.38 but nothing happens when Odin has restarted my phone, I had the little android image that works then a message like: "E: failed to mount storage (invalid argument)" and the phone started to reboot loop I've tried dozens of manipulations unsuccessfully kies does not see my phone I do not know what to do,
PS: I've tried all the manipulations removing the battery / SIM card and sd waited 5 minutes, I was able to put the phone in Emergency Mode DLOAD but it nothing happens the only real thing that still works is the "Downloading "mode , but I think my recovery mode was crushed and I cann't access it even when I can flash with odin I always have the problem of "E: failed to mount storage" (the same style as him [URL]...
I'm having trouble booting my LG Optimus G into recovery mode. I've rooted the phone and installed ClockworkMod recovery. When I try to boot into recovery, either from the ROMmanager app or by holding Volume Up and Power, it comes up with the LG logo and gives this error: Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify. It just stays like that until I press and hold the power button again until the phone shuts off entirely. Then I'm able to boot into the stock operating system and the phone works fine, but I can never get it to boot into recovery.
The error I mentioned above seems to be a well documented error on the internet, but it seems like other people that are having the trouble are completely bricking their phones. Mine is able to come out of it. All the solutions I'm finding pertain to a phone that's completely bricked and involve taking the phone back to stock. My phone works fine with the stock ROM, but I'd like to play with some custom ROM's.
From yesterday, i am unable to install any new apps or update old apps from the market..when i press update/install it says update un successful and the app is also removed. any idea about this problem?
