I installed ICS on my Transformer TF101 and I was thinking to overclock it. Now i saw some thread already on this forum about it, but it was talking about the Transformer Prime (TF201) is there any overclocking kernel for the transformer on ice cream sandwich?
I've tried a lot of things to root my tablet, but they won't work all of them. Now I am searching for a couple of days around the internet, but I've still not found anything. How to root my TF101 with kernel 18.104.22.168
if there is one, to a kernel that includes the FPS fix and overclocking for 2.2? I installed the Ava release, and XDA is saying that the [Kernel]netarchy-toastmod, FPS 'fix' for Epson + Nova, now with hdmi - Version 3.7.5 - xda-developers is not supported on 2.2.
Issue is that I freeze at any speed over 604 max (via Setcpu). Tried setting higher speeds as a charge profile to see if being triggered would change yet didn't. I have done nothing with advanced menu as I have found nothing posted referencing it netting higher speeds. I am rooted, started with zanfur kernel, switched to a conap kernel (bfsv6), both with same results. Did dalvik wipe (i am running amon ra) then went back to zanfur kernel to try again, same results. What am I missing? If this is just equipment limit then what's the result of flashing a custom Rom with default clocks of 710+++?
So, I've just installed the two Hyra kernels and after checking the "about phone" section, I see the undervolt kernel has been installed. Now I've got a couple of questions.. 1. How do I know the overclock kernel was also installed? 2. Are there any settings or anything I need to turn the kernel "on" or is it automatic?
I have a TF101 running a ROM based on stock Asus and I would like an application that adds the ability to pass Google Voice's SMS to a messaging app the way that Google Voice SMS Integration does (it doesn't work on TF101).
I have an Asus Transformer TF101, and one of my HDDs automatically spins down after a few minutes of idle. However another drive I have [that is 2.5", usb-powered] continually runs when it's plugged in, whether it's being used or not.
I was wondering if there's any way to make this other hdd spin down after a few minutes?

i have a question regarding playing files on TV via wifi which are located on an external HD, which is connected to TF101. In other words, i have toshiba external drive 500 gb, tf101, samsung ace 2 phone, samsung tv and skifta program. The idea is, connect external drive to tf101, initiate skifta in tf101 and in ace 2 phone and by using phone initiate a movie on TV which is located in external drive? And here I come into a problem, i can play movies on TV that are on my phone, and those that are in TF101, but with skifta my ace 2 does not list movies that are on external drive which is connected to TF101 If i use only TF101 and skifta, i also can play on TV only those files, that are on TF101 but those which are on external HDD are not listed.
I've got a TF101, factory stock HC rom, I installed revolution HD (ICS) and it's a nice rom, but it has a few quirks with ICS...so I really really want it to go back to stock rooted + cwm HC, *just* that.
I've tried using cwm 126.96.36.199 and flashing directly the file ww_epad_user-188.8.131.52 which is a HC already prerooted + cwm that I found on the specific XDA forum section, but whenever I reboot the system, go to "about tablet", the SAME firmware is installed (4.0.3) and build number android revolution 3.0.1...I've tried wiping cache, dalvik, tried different roms, using adb to mess around, NOTHING takes me out of revolution HD back to stock.
After downloading and installing multiple Fifa 2012 Apks. Every time i start the app it comes up with block letters so i cant read anything. It worked 3 weeks ago. Im not sure what has changed since then. Im running ICS.
I'd like to figure out how to connect my Yamaha MIDI keyboard to my Asus tf101 tablet for recording via hardwired USB.
I've scoured the web looking for an app or solution to this and have come up generally blank, I've tried all the free midi controller apps, but they only seem to support Wifi or Bluetooth, which my keyboard is unable to do.
I'd like to eliminate my computer as a middleman (If I'm at my computer I'd just use that) and be able to use my tablet to record on the go!
Device Info: ASUS Transformer tf101 running ICS 4.0.3 Rooted I have the dock with 2 USB 2.0 ports that I am connecting to the connecter with. Cable: Amazon: USB MIDI Input Output Cable Converter PC Notebook
Works fine on computer and no issues so far via usb.
Mobile - Xperia Ray (ST8I)(Urushi) Build Number - 4.0.2.A.0.62 root access - yes (the phone has already been rooted by flashing .42 kernels, using zergrush method and then flashing .62 kernels) Bootloader - Unlocked using Flashtool
1) How can I Overclock my mobile? I have already tried setCPU and CPU master but of no use. 2) Is it recommended to overclock it as it is a compact phone and gets pretty hot while charging! If yes then to what limits?
I would like to avoid installing any custom rom as they have whole lot of bugs!
Just flashed this rom on my galaxy s2 i9100, and so far am pretty happy with my new ICS experience But i was wondering if there was overclocking?
I searched rom manager -> performance -> MAX CPU, and the highest frequency i could set is 1200 mhz, and was looking to overclock to 1400mhz-1600mhz. Is this the highest i can set for this rom? or did i have to do anything additional like flash another kenel?
