My Sandisc 64GB SD card went kaputt last week, it froze at 33GB, luckily the existing files are all ok and I was able to copy all the files onto my PC, however nothing new can be written to it. I've tried formatting with no success. So I copied the files onto the PC and just got a new this time Samsung 64GB micro SD card. Problem I'm having now is that on several attempts it's failed to copy the files back to my SD card (from PC) I've formatted the card in the Note 3..the music files about 4 GB transferred just fine, the problem seems to be with the Pix and Videos. I'm currently trying to copy the DCIM folder back onto the micro sd and it's saying it'll take 6 hours.
I have tried: copying from PC to micro SD in the phone via USB copying from PC to micro SD in SD card adapter plugged directly into PC

I noticed in eclipse under file, there is no open project. But open file. So I could have gone into the folder of another project and open files of that on the same screen? I mean you open files one by one but you don't open a project?
is it possible to flash only certain files contained in an APK? For instance if I want to modify a XML file in systemUI.apk, can I just flash that file or do I have to flash the whole systemUI.apk containing the modified file?

using a virtual machine to flash .kdz files on my android phone. This because i dont have a windows pc and i can't borrow one either. The main goal is to root my LG-P700 v10k ICS 4.0.3 and install a custom rom wich can be done with mobile odin without a pc or mac, correct?
I could open the file input/output of my application through a broadcast receiver. Normally, I would use openFileOutput/Input(), but this can only be done through activities. Would it be more sensible to create my file in res/raw? or create an instance of the activity and call openFileOutput() on it?
I know Flash 10.1 is technically a browser plugin but has anyone figured out a way to play .FLV files (offline)? Tried opening a .FLV file through Estrongs and then selecting the video option but it would not play
I removed the OS from my N7100 after I messed up with a kernel. Now im trying to reinstall the cyanogen mod but my computer doesnt recognize the phone, and so my only way of flashing anything to the phone is by using Odin, which only accepts .md5 files. I also have Clockworks Mod Recovery but like I said, my computer doesnt recognize my phone as a device
How can I flash cyanogen mod via Odin? When I download it from the official website its not in .md5 format, it's a .zip.
I recently bought a Nexus S 4G from Craigslist. The phone has a cleam ESN but it has been flashed to Boost. How do I get the phone flashed back to sprint? All of the things I have found so far talk about installing custom ROMs and flashing to other carriers. I want to go back to stock Sprint.
Just got my Sensation XE about one month ago, and flashed yesterday from ARHD 6.6.4 to Elegancia (The newest Version with Sense 4), and now i want my ARHD back. But every other Rom i flash wont boot! I can flash Elegancia again and it works. How can I flash back to ARHD?
So i just rooted my HTC Evo 4G and everything has been deleted. However, once i put my SD card into the computer by itself, all of my folders/files/etc. show up. is there a way to make them appear and keep my phone rooted?

I want to write a small application in Android 2.2 to play .swf and .flv files that are stored on SD card. How to I do it ? Does Android 2.2 already support some library functions /API's which can be imported and used to play the .swf/.flv files ?
Anyone update to the new version of the flash Beta.and then have flash disappear from there download list? I searched the market and it is there but when I hit downloads to view my downloads its gone. Off the list, where it was before. Weird, anyone else?
I, like a boss, jumped right on the 2.2 leak and updated my phone right off the bat. Lost root, came to the forums, realized that copying a single file could have saved me, cried a bit inside my heart, and finally started the process to flash back to "stock" so that I can re-root, and update the right way without losing root again.
So I downloaded the .sbf file. Downloaded RSDLite 4.6 and attempted to flash. Error: can't access the INI file... sigh
Downloaded RSDLite 4.7 and attempted to flash. Error: Your phone isn't compatible with multi-blah blah blah...
Googled here and there and searched our happy old forums. No luck. Just stupid people giving stupid advice like "try a different USB port". Did I mention I hate people who just reply to a thread with a lame ass "suggestion" even though they clearly have no clue what they're doing?
So I need to know if there is another way to flash back to 2.1 or 2.0.1 (whichever the case may be) so that I can do this upgrade the right way without losing root?
Also, would one of the mods/admins please go back and edit the original "HOW-TO upgrade to 2.2" thread in the basic Droid-X forum and put a huge bold disclaimer for those of us who have our phones rooted to GO TO THE THREAD IN THE "ALL THINGS ROOT" FORUM AND READ THAT FIRST....
Could have saved all my troubles if this information was stated in the first place. I know this is sounding like I'm complaining. Which I guess I am. And I know it's my fault for not reading more before I went ahead and jumped in to the update. But seriously, one little line of text could have saved so many of us so much trouble.
