Dec 11, 2012
By default, internal memory call is "sdcard" and sdcard will call "ex-sdcard" , so, apps will install on "sdcard". it make internal memory get low when i install some apps with big data. Now, my sdcard is free to 3,5Gb but i can't install any app because "sdcard" is full
I just purchased a new 8GB micro SD card for my Optimus L9, the intention was to allow me to move my current apps from my internal storage to the SD card, and download new apps to the SD card. I have tried the strategy of clicking on an apps setting and clicking the button that should be halfway down the page that allows me to move it from the internal storage to the SD card, but the button, for any of my apps, does not appear. It's not like its there and I cant click it, its really not even there.
i am new with using android phones i have Samsung Galaxy Core GT-i8260 i think i made it root by using Framaroot app 1.6 (with Gandalf option) ... so i triad a lot of apps but it didn't work .. i always got this error :: " 'App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card "" i tried link2sd and app2sd and move 2 sd i think this thread is mention befor but i found no answer .. so i said lets refresh it ...

It happened after I flash my phone with cyanogenmod ROM, i flashed a couple of google apps and a custom kernel. I THINK when i clicked a certain CPU speed in overclocking, it kinda stuck and restarted and had no signal at all... I flashed it again a couple of times even the beta cyanogenmod and dardroidXD, factory reset, wipe data, cache, remove battery. i flashed it with the original firmware with different version but still no avail..
How do you uninstall unwanted apps that were there when i got my optimus v. They use up unnecessary space on my phone and some of them run in the background so i just want to get rid of them but you cant uninstall them in the applications menu?

So I've downloaded a couple of games from Omni G Soft. I have played them on my Windows Mobile phone and love them. They are sitting on my SD card because I cannot figure out how to open them or run them. How do I run or install apps loaded on my SD card. the program App Installer wont work. I need another way. FYI - I am NO programmer.
I've got a bunch of APKs on my SD card that I want to install, but AppsInstaller and all the other programs I could find all crash on launch. Does anyone know of an installer that's compatible with the Droid/Android 2.0?
I am getting this phone soon via winning it from the samsung giveaway.....anyway, the only thing i really want to know is, can we install apps onto a sd card? i really like downloading a lot of apps and wanted to know this
I searched this forum and could not get my answer so i am posting it now. My question is this, is it possible to install apps on microSD card? or install them locally then move them to sd card<--- if this can be done how?
I DLd apps before I got my phone, not knowing I'd need root.I was using a file explorer last night to browse my phone, found the apps which remained untouched, then opened and used the installer bam 2 apps installed, after DLing them using my laptop and transferring them to my phone. Get that! WITHOUT ROOT!
