Android :: Configure HTTP Proxy With Latest Android Emulator On Windows?
Sep 25, 2010I'm at complete odds over configuring a proxy to inspect the HTTP(S) traffic for the app I'm developing. I've tried running Fiddler2 and Charles Web Proxy, both run on 127.0.0.1:888, and starting up the Android emulator with the parameter:
To test it out I open the Android browser. I see in Fiddler2 that the request is routed through the proxy. However, only RARELY does the request receive a successful response. In most, and when I say most I mean 99% of the time, the request is retried and fails again with the Android browser telling me "The server failed to communicate". Has anyone found a way to configure Fiddler2 or Charles for debugging HTTP(S) traffic through the Android emulator?

This is not windows mobile, so I am unsure if I can code/design a solution to avoid this enormous manual task.

General :: Unable To Configure 2 Exchange Accounts In Stock Email Client
Jun 6, 2012I have a Galaxy Nexus with Stock 4.0.4 ROM and a Transformer Prime also with the stock ASUS firmware (4.0.3), The company where I work has a mail server that supports exchange (Kerio Connect) At that server I have (because I need it that way) 2 different accounts, I need one of those accounts to synchronize everything; contacts, mail, calendar, and the other one to synchronize only calendar appointments.
If I configure the first account everything works just fine. But, when I configure the second account, I start receiving login errors for both accounts every certain time, the apps shows me the option to update my account credentials and when I do it works for the moment but after a while it fails again. If I delete whichever of the two accounts the other works fine.
I have not tested this scenario against other email servers, so I'm not sure if this a problem with my server or if this is an Android problem.
Both accounts are configured as Exchange accounts from Settings menu.

May 21, 2010I have had DC 2.08.1 installed for about 2 weeks with no issues. I decided to go ahead and partition the SD to utilized apps2SD as I was having memory issues. That process, while not smooth, went through okay and the SD card is working with the partition and apps2SD. However, ever since that was completed, my Windows 7 box no longer recognizes the phone either as a phone or as a drive. My Linux laptop recognizes the drive without issue.
Any suggestions on how I can reintroduce my phone to the Windows box, at least as a drive?

I have been using easy tether with my vista with great success. Not sure how to configure Ubuntu to work. I downloaded and installed the i386 package in Ubuntu can't seem to figure out what else to do. Normally I would look for the running program in the bottom right corner and right click and select automatically connect when plugged into usb. However, I don't see easy tether application anywhere, just when I re-run the .deb package, it tells me it is already installed.

But my question is - is it possible to create a calendar event - like in symbian OS , where you can choose - Event , Anniversary , Task (To Do) . Issue is , I have a lot of Bday reminders, and they are not exactly "ALL DAY events" and neither do i need a reminder set for that. I prefer the symbian way where its displayed on ur home screen - on that particular day for the entire day. Is such a setting (may be using another app) possible in Android ?
