Are there any apps out there that take the movie file and apply the right codec to it so that the file can be downloaded in 720p? Is this something HTC is planning on updating or did they do it intentionally for some reason? Can I upload files to youtube from my phone in 480p?
I am looking to figure out how to stream a video off my website through the browser. I know it is possible since I've seen some of those mobile porn sites do it, I just cant figure out what format this is in or how to get the video to play.
Lets try to create a list of the optimal video format and properties a video must be in on the Hero.Help me out here I am really no expert so please let me know if I got something wrong.I will try to keep this first thread up to date: Container = .MP4 Encoder = h.264 Frame rate = 23.976(NTSC) or 29.97(PAL)? Resolution = 480 x 320 Video bitrate = 500-1000 kbps Audio encoder = AAC Audio bitrate = 320 kbps
I finally was able to build and debug the android platform with this tutorial. I imported my project in eclipse, and afterwards installed ADT. Then I converted my imported project to android project (Android Tools -> Convert To Android Project). And now I'm having Failed to load properties file for project 'droid-platform' error. Session data: Code... Does anyone know, how do I deal with this?
I have an app with some 3rd-party jar references. When building in Eclipse, those .properties files in the jars are included in the generated apk with the help of ADT plugins. And the structure of the apk would look like as below...
If this is a repeat of another thread then i apologize .i need a video player that will play mp4 video in full resolution for the droid.m coming from bb.can you help me with this.i don't care if it is free or not.
i recently got my first device using android 4.2.2 and i see that the only video resolution for youtube that i can select is HQ but i cant select for example 720p or 1080p. Does 4.2.2 is missing this youtube feature? I know that older ios version you couldnt select it but with ios 7 is available.
I'm a former iPhone user. I was happy with the iPhone but got bored with it. I'm still getting used the EVO. I love the screen size and the notification system. One thing I'm concerned about is the resolution. I've noticed in apps such as MLB At Bat it is not as crisp as the iPhone and the video in the app is not as crisp as it was on the iPhone. I don't think the resolution is bad but it concerns me that it will start to really bother me.
I've got a long train journey comimg up and want to convert some films I've got to play on my Desire. What would be the best resolution? (I was going to use mp4), and what is a good program for converting (Handbrake?).
After using both the EVO and SGS for weeks, I find the SGS inferior to the EVO in very few ways. The most major one that it being a 3G phone, the Internet speed is of course slower than the EVO's (I have 4G in my area, Los Angeles). I enjoy watch Youtube and SprintTV on the EVO as both the resolution and streaming experience very good, however after watch the low res Youtube on the SGS a few times, I can't make myself watch it under 3G anymore (wifi is better but still not as good as EVO on 4G). But since we can consistently get over 1 meg on 3G, why can't the SGS do better in Youtube video playback? Is there any program that can trick the phone in thinking it is on wifi and playback in higher resolution?
I asked a while back about the correct video resolution for the Hero, but now I want to know; I'm converting a few of my movies, and they're in that super super thing widescreen format, and when I convert them to 480x320, they're stretched at the top. Does anyone know what to convert them to so they're not? I'm really bad at resolutions
Is it possible to upgrade the video recording resolution? I am using galaxy s duos running kyleopen .It can only record 480p maximum can i get atleast 720p hd. Any buil.prop or media profile.xml tweaks possible ?
Yesterday I took a video with the front camera. I recorded with the front camera for 7 minutes and it took almost 1GB of size. So, is there an app that can record videos with lower resolution but not too blurry? GT-I9505
I send lots of text video messages. Before the 2.2 update, the MMS capable video had a decent resolution up to 30 seconds. Since the update, the resolution on the MMS setting (or the low setting) is horrible and almost too grainy to be visible. Is there any workaround? I tried taking just a very short high res. video but it won't let me text it.
I did a search in the Moment forum for this but no results showed up. Is there any way, whether through a particular media player app or just some special method, to get videos with 720x480 resolution to play on the Moment or is that something that just simply can't be done? I have lots of videos that came already formatted that way and would hate to have to convert them all to play on it.
I have Xolo a500s. I flashed a custom ROM on it. The custom rom is based on 4.2.2 but it has all apps of 4.4 like camera, launcher, calender, gallery etc. The problem I am having is that the camera app doesn't have any option to change video recording resolution. It always record video in 640x480 resolution. but in my stock rom It used to record video in 720p resolution.
I installed camera mx app from playstore and this app gives me 720p recording option. But I don't like this app. I want my default camera app to record 720p. can I edit camera.apk file to change the video recording resolution? or I will have to change some files of my custom ROM to change the resolution?
I have a program that should work on Android 1.5, but when it's run on newer devices with higher resolution screens, it should support the full resolution and not emulate a lower resolution screen. As far as I can tell from the documentation, this should be simple.
I just specify
The problem is that if I tell Eclipse to compile for 1.5, it refuses to accept this. It reports an error (targetSdkVersion is an unknown tag) and refuses to compile or run. If I tell it to compile for 1.6 it works fine, of course. But if I then try to install on a 1.5 AVD, the program immediately crashes with a java.lang.VerifyError. I'm clearly missing something simple. How do I get it to compile an apk that works under 1.5, but still includes the targetSdkVersion tag?
