Hi, I'm new to the forum and I didn't have any luck when I searched for this answer. If I'm viewing a video on my Hero, can I connect my phone via the USB cable to my computer and watch the video on the computer?
I'm having problems viewing youtube videos from the installed app. It starts by putting the loading video screen and then after a short while I just get a dialogue box with 'Sorry this video cannot be played. there was a problem while playing' I am connected via 3g and have 4 bars on my signal (no wifi).
So much for even PAYING a subscription for Hulu. Once again another company goes catering to the #(*$ Iphone fanboys. Sorry, just with the release of Flash for the Droid I figured we would at LEAST get "something" from them rather than a snub.
Top 10 Hulu Hacks and Power User Tips. this article is saying you can use skyfire on hulu, Ive not been able to get it working recently, i know they patched it a while back but it is it again working? and if so are there special settings to get it to work properly?
I don't see the logic behind this. The more people who watch hulu means more people who are looking at ads. And the more people who look at ads, the more money hulu makes. The only logic I could see behind this is that a Hulu Plus app is coming to the Android market, but I haven't heard anything about that. What's your take on this?
I was able to install Android 2.2 and Falsh Player 10.
I've got Froyo and Flash Player 10.1 but what can I do with them? None of the Flash sites that I use actually work.
Hulu doesn't work - yes I have my AUString set to desktop not mobile.
MLB Live pitch by pitch (the free one with the animated batter showing pitch location) doesn't work either! The mobile version works but it isn't nearly as good as the flash player version.
Anybody know how to make Hulu work or any other cool flash player web sites? I'm not into games at all. No reason to watch little bits of movies or tv shows either. I do have TV.com but that only shows one of the TV networks.
I'm running the new cyanogen mod 6 RC3 and I tried to watch Hulu and it wouldn't work, website or widget. I did the about:debug UAString thing. nothing. I was running Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.8. I uninstalled Flash and installed 10.1.72.7 and now hulu works great. is this weird to anybody else?
I thought with the arrival of Flash 10 on Droid X I would be able to watch videos on Hulu. I tried to do the about:debug that has been discussed before but I can't. Is there another way to watch Hulu on your Droid X? Am I completely missing something?
Is there any remote control app that will work on hulu desktop? I have "mycontrol" which works on windows media center, however, it's not 100% compatible with hulu desktop. It hardly can navigate up and down but works fine with right and left buttons. If there's any remote control works perfectly with hulu, that would be just awesome since there are way more videos on hulu than my windows media center.
I read that hulu is blocked on our phones, and someone said to try netflix instead. Well, I have a netflix account and it sounded like a great way to stream something for the kids when we're stuck waiting.Am I missing something? Has anyone gotten either of these to stream on their droid?I'm rooted and running BB v0.4 if that makes any difference.
I'm using myPlayer to download videos to watch during my commute. Even though the myPlayer app recommends arcMedia to play the downloaded videos, I've found that the default Videos app works just fine, and is a bit better thanks to the Dolby Mobile sound.
However... after downloading the video to the phone, the video takes an age to show up in the Videos app's list. I can usually prod the app into re-scanning the SD card for videos my unmounting and remounting the card, but that's a bit of a pain. Does anyone know of a way of just getting the Videos app to have another look for new files?
(I know, it's not a major hassle to remount the SD card, but I'm an ex-iPhone guy and used to the 'it just works' way of doing things...
I just got an HTC desire and so far its much better than my iphone. I'm just stuck on one think, how do I view my contacts? I've gone through all of my apps and it appears that the only way is to create a new message and then add a contact to there.
to try to cut a long story short got a bit mifffed at using the hero to view the net and bought a broken laptop (now fixed with new operating system installed and new ram) to use at work so i can use the net in large screen after using for a few days i note the its using up a lot of mb of my data to use the net with the laptop is there a way to setup a firefox just to view the text with out the ads and pics and still have full function of the net
Im looking for an app that will allow me to view my webcam at work for security purposes. Once I close up the office I would like to be able to view my webcam on my phone. Would also be nice if it could be activated by motion.
My app downloads a set of images from a website but I need to figure out the how to display them to the user. How can I display these to the user if they are coming from a ListView? Also, they'll need to be able to get back to the ListView.
