My clock always gets delayed. I always have to connect to the network or wifi to get a time update, it gets delayed 2 or 3 times a day. some times even after a time update it pushes back the time for 5 minutes more or less. I'm thinking if I don't update 2 or more time a day, in a week my clock would be delayed by an hour or so.

Is there an app for real-time(or at best, delayed) stock reads? I have two apps on my Bold(one real-time and one delayed) and before I switch Id like to make sure Im not losing every application I currently use.

Currently, I am using a "Internet Time Clock" app from the app store to check my time once a day, and when it's off, I manually adjust it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedThis may be a dumb question, but my SD card is 8GB (same as the internal storage on the phone). When I plug into my PC, it shows two removable storage items. How do I know which one is the phone and which one is the SD card? Is the phone the one with all of the pre-loaded pics and such? Or does that info get moved to the SD card once its formated?

On facebook someone left me a comment 2 minutes after i put it there and my phone got it 7 minutes later. Come to think about it, I barely get any text from facebook. Does the hero have some sorta delay? or could it just be sprint? I have wifi and mobile on so idk how this would work at all?

But then one took 2 days to arrive on a friend's phone! We're both on Android (I'm on a Nexus 4 running Kit Kat), though I'm on Telus and I believe he's on Wind Mobile. As an FYI, the day of the 2-day-delay I was using Handcent as my SMS app, but in the past I was using the stock SMS app. is the extra delay caused by my SMS app, my OS/phone or my carrier?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having an awful time with my Eris when it comes to picking up calls and an even worse time dialing out. Everything is delayed after pressing keys. This morning I went to dial someone and when it didn't dial I set the phone down to use my office phone and then out of the corner of my eye I see it was calling the person. Once I had the person on the phone w/in a minute my cheek (I'm assuming) ended the call.
So the screen was in the call history list so I pressed his name again to call and it called the next person below on the list. It was probably adding his name to the call history and moved the list but because it was delayed it dialed the wrong person. I love this phone except for phone Calls. I'm going into Verizon today to complain. They will be able to tell from my call history how frequently I'm missing calls because the phone doesn't pick up and then I redial back. 5 calls back and forth for a 2 minute conversations!
I saw somewhere a clock widget that makes the time look embedded in the wallpaper, but I cant find it anywhere. I searched here and the market but cant find out what its called and if its supported on 1.5.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am new here and I came from Symbian and Linux, for all the phones I've used there are at least one application for screen capture and one for time clock synchronization, both are very useful and basic task we will do with a smartphone, but on the Android I found none that can work without a 'rooted' phone. I don't know how other phones do it, but I know the reason for a 'rooted' phone is to be able to access the framebuffer for screen capture for example and this may be risky, I suppose it is simply a sub-routine call to the BIOS will do without the need for a complete 'open access' system. I know there is a way to capture the screen without a rooted phone, but the phone must be connected to a PC and I feel this is dumb and inconvenient, I may be completely wrong about Android, please fill me in.

I've been seeing people online that are using a clock widget that spells out the time in words. It is very cool but I can't seem to find it. They also have the same thing for battery levels.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I have an HTC Clock widget on my home screen the time does not update fluidly. The clock will display the correct time only after I've unlocked the phone and given it several seconds to update. If I swipe over to another screen, wait any period of time (the longer the better), and swipe back; the clock will display the time at which I left that screen and again needs several seconds before it leaps to the correct time. I've tested this theory on the native Android clock widget and it worked correctly. IMO, it defeats the purpose of having the HTC clock widget when the clock in the notifications bar is always accurate. I am also using ATK but I've made sure the Clock process/app is in the ignore list.

How do I do this? Are there any app that can do this or I need to modify some system files (SystemUI.apk perhaps)? My phone is xperia mini pro (rooted).
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently there was an updated version of Android Terminal Emulator by Jack Palevich, the free one from Market. But I was unable to install it as it always prompt me "Insufficient Memory". I've more than 100MB free internal memory (using App2sd) and over 5GB free on my SDcard. But it just refuse to let me install. So I tried downloading the apk too and install it using a root manager, but the installation also failed.
So I decided to give up on the app and remove the app. But yet Market still prompts me for an update (and my phone refuse to let me install it). I done a search on "jack" using my root manager to delete all files related with the app and even clear up all apps cache... but still Market prompts me!
What should I do to either:
1. Get this app to install successfully
or
2. Remove this app "cleanly"
or
3. Stop Market from showing me an "Update" for this app when it's already not in my phone?

I like to snooze for longer than 5 minutes. I have not found a way to adjust the snooze time. Is it possible on the DroidX? If not, can anyone recommend a good alarm clock app that has this feature?

View 4 Replies View RelatedRunning into another issue regarding my S4 here. Before the 4x2 clock widget I had would always be in sync to that of my carrier's time. Now, when I scroll around my phone or go back to check the time or even after unlocking my device, the widget is a good minute or two behind of my actual provider's time. It takes itself about 30 seconds to correct itself, I was just curious if there is anything I can do to fix this issue?

The clock on the phone has the correct time but the weather/clock widget that came with the dinc is still on eastern time. When i tap on the widget the screen it takes me to shows the correct time but when I go back to the homescreen it's back to eastern. Any idea what's going on here?

Ive mounted the phone and looked in the download folder of sd card but nothing is there, and its certainly not in any of my albums. Now i've searched for this problem and usually the best solution to this is to delete any task managers installed, which I cannot because the task manager is embedded into Home++, so I'm thinking the only way to get rid of the task manager is to delete the whole Home++, correct? View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Droid is stock 2.1, rooted with P3 1000 kernel. I have had the issues with stock kernel as well.
Basically, some apps keep telling me I have insufficient space available when I try to update them. The main culprits are Shopper, Space Physics, and NESoid. Sometimes, uninstalling/reinstalling works, but the latest updates of Space Physics and Shopper keep telling me insufficient space. Settings, Memory says I have 91.54 MB of internal space left. Also, uninstalling and doing Titanium restores dont seem to work either...but just for those apps.
