Android :: Financial App That Will Sync With Microsoft Money
I'm looking for a financial app that will sync with microsoft money. Something like Ultrasoft Money. I used that on my windows mobile phone and it synced flawlessly and effortlessly. I know there are other financial programs out there that will allow you to keep a checkbook on your phone, but I don't want the checkbook solely on the phone, I want it on the desktop too and microsoft money is already there and works great. Some of these other apps out there will sync with ms money if you download the file in this format to your sd card, hold your tongue to the top of your mouth, move the file to the computer via USB, move your tongue 90 degrees to the north, change the file format and then import it from within money. well, you get the idea. I don't want to have to do all that.

I have been using MS Money to track my money/credit cards etc since 2002. I used my Ipaq when I was away to track everything and synch with pc when I was at home. Does anyone know of an alternative for Android? I know there are some iPod ones but not seen any for Android and sometimes the app store is not the easiest place to search.

How to get money from users phone using Java application? So I want to create simple casual game, I want to charge users if they want to pass some extra layers. I want to create an app first of all for android, it'll be opensource. Than to port in on nokia and other Java enabeld devices. Are there any tutorialsmatereals on how to do such thing? Samsung Fascinate :: Costs Money Use 3G Hotspot
I was just looking at my Verizon Plan, and though I don't have it currently as an option that I'm paying for, it costs $20 a month to use the 3G Hotspot feature? I thought this was just something the phone did through your unlimited data plan. if the 3G Mobile Hotspot app does indeed require this $20 a month charge, and whether there's any other app or way to get the same functionality without paying.

HTC Droid Eris :: Does Yahoo Finance Cost Money To Use?
If i place the Widet that covers up the whole screen called Stocks by Yahoo. Then click it to open it I can add a stock or index. However, right under that text it says *This service may result in additional charges from your wireless provider. It's Yahoo Finance Stocks which comes with the phone. Anyone know if it cost extra money to use? Also if I go into settings/wireless controls/mobile network settings/ data roaming (connect to data services when roaming) and check that does it cost extra money to use 3G when the phone is roaming? Do you guys have "enable always-on mobile" (uses more power on some mobile networks) checked?

Android :: Project Management / Business - Money Management Applications?
I currently have a personal (HTC Touch Pro) and business phone (iPhone). With Sprint now offering unlimited any-mobile (freeing up 1300+ minutes a month on my family plan) and Google Voice allowing me to get a separate business number, I'm thinking about dropping my iPhone, and replacing the HTC with either a BlackBerry Tour or a Hero. I work in project management; I know that the BB does have applications that would be useful to me (as does the iPhone), but I can't find comparable apps for Android. As a personal phone though, I would rather have the Hero. Given that I've only been able to spend a limited amount of time browsing the Android Market in a Sprint store, I was hoping someone here might know of some good replacements for my "must have" apps. 1) PIM / Task management. I have a lot of tasks, meetings, and deadlines to manage. I need something similar to the functionality provided by Outlook. I currently use Pocket Informant on the iPhone, which allows me to view multiple calandars, see my schedule from the month-level view, and integrate my to-do lists. I can also assign calander events and to-do tasks to projects, give them priority, provide extra notes, add multiple reminders, etc.. I could probably live with the Android's calander, but I definately need a good to-do app. 2) Time tracking. I have an app on the iPhone (TimeLogger) that lets me track how much time I spend on projects for clients. The one I currently use allows me to start a timer and then come back later to stop it, which is helpful but not a must. 3) Personal finance manager. I track all of my purchases, have several accounts / cards, and need to be able to track/filter business vs personal purchases.

Android :: Implementing Sync Adapter / Sync Icon Wont Disappear
I'm implementing my own sync adapter and everything works great. A strange i'm having is that after the sync is over, the Android still shows the sync icon (the one with the rounded arrow) in the account activity, and that someone (i guess its the account manager) repeatedly calls the sync again and again, every 30 to 60 seconds. Now i tried all sort of things to test this issue and i have discovered something strange. In my code, i do resolver.applyBatch every 50 new rows. (each new contact i sync has about 5 rows). If i remove the applyBatch (which means i retrieve the data from the next, sort it and prepare it, but never "commit" it) - the problem goes away. The icon disappear and the account manager never calls it again on its own (I'm using Android 2.1). I must also state that no exception is being thrown in any of the cases and that all the methods finish gracefully.

Android : DDMS Screenshot Not In Sync With Sync
I'm currently developing a game for Android and I want to take screenshots of it.I did so using the DDMS tool in eclipse. However, most of the screenshots are a mix of two frames:The separating line is in different positions.This leads me to the conclusion that the screenshot is being made while the current frame is still being drawn.Is there a way to get the screencap in sync with the hardware?Are there other methods of making screenshots where this doesn't happen?

I made a account on the community of sony erricsson so i can sync and update my data from the net. The first sync of contacts, calander etc was oke. But since a couple of days i cannot sync my contact with Sony Ericsson, i Tried to connect but always the same : sync failed . Checked the internet connection and al seems working properly, gmail sync oke, all oke except the sync with Sony Ericcson.Any a idea how to resolve the problem . Perhaps a setting but seems strange because nothing as changed since the first time.

If I should ask this here or on the root forum but I got DM 6 and everything is asop, plain and stock Android 2. 2 but what bothera me is the my facebook contacts don't want to sync with my Google contacts in my phone, I'm using the regular Facebook app and I don't see an option to link manually like the HTC sync one.

I took a plunge this morning buying Missing Sync for Android on PC. It does not work. Loads of errors, hangs, if it connects at all. I tried their support center, it would not allow me to register. I tried their forum, it's security image does not appear, making it impossible to post. Tried their Board e-mail, bounces back with error. Tried their support@markspace.com, bounces back with error. Has anybody used this successfully? Should I contact visa...?

Android :: Way To Get A Outlook Sync App?
Is there an app that directly sync the Samsung Fascination with the Outlook client WITHOUT having to go through the crappy Google calendar? I currently use the Google supplied sync app and it is a piece of crap. I does not resolve conflicts. It does not delete entries that I have deleted oin Outlook. It does not transfer appointments that were created by others that I have accepted. I never had a problem with my old Win Mobile phone and Active sync. I cannot connect to our Exchange server for updates so I must sync directly with my local client. I am getting so sick of companies telling me how I should be doing stuff. First Verizon with all the bloatware you cannot remove and now this. I was told I could sync just like my old phone. Using XP with Office 2007

I should soon be moving from my Blackberry to an Evo, so I'm wondering how this works. Currently I just sync my BB with my Outlook contacts list. Is there anything like this for Android? Perhaps an online Google address book or something?I know there may be an option to sync with Gmail contacts, but seriously, I don't want 100s of names on my phone just because I happened to email someone a year ago.So how does the default "Address Book" work for Android? HTC Desire :: Sync 2.0.40 And Android 2.2
Since updating to Android v2.2 I have been unable to sync using HTC sync v2.0.40. I use this to sync with my Lotus Notes Calendar. The phone is recognised and sync starts but then hangs and fails to sync. HTC sync v3 will sync but is not compatible with Lotus Notes calendar.

My Eris syncs with AppBrain through wi-fi just fine, however it does not sync through Blueooth. I noticed that when I tried to transfer a pic from my vista 64 PC to the Eris, I get a fail to send message with the following: "If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed." Do I have an issue with the sync partnership between my Eris and my PC on Bluetooth?

I have two ScrollView inside of each of two HorizontalScrollView of a TableRow. When I touch drag one of ScrollView, another ScrollView must scroll as much. For instance, if I have a list of name on left ScrollView and corresponding phone numbers in right ScrollView, scrolling one ScrollView should not destroy the original bounding between the names and phone numbers. Can it be implemented by onTouchEvent? If so, how should I implement this(on both or one of the ScrollView)?
